Now that the spooky season is over, this post is all about treats—no tricks whatsoever 😀 Grab your hooks, ladies and gentlemen who crochet, I bring free patterns! Introducing *drumrolls* my miniature amigurumi Christmas tree and angels! These tiny angels are 4.5 inches tall and require only small amounts of yarn to make. Standing 5 inches tall, just 0.5” taller than these little winged cuties, is the miniature Christmas Tree, which is so simple to make, even your cat can hook up one in an evening 😉 So if you are looking for a fun, quick and easy Christmas-themed stash busting project, this one is just what the doctor ordered. Want more free patterns for quick and easy Christmas amigurumi projects? My dear friend Vanja’s blog too has caught the Christmas fever. Check out her adorable Christmas tree ornaments, if you haven’t already.
And just in case you missed my last post, there’s more Holiday-themed goodies in there (think cute little teddy bears in warm, nice hats).
Until next time, keep warm and crochet on 🙂
Update (November 10, 2013): The Miniature Christmas Tree & Angels pattern is now available in Danish, thanks to Marianne who translated the pattern. The Danish pattern can now be downloaded from her blog.

Myyyyyyyy goodness, what an angelic gift again…thank you soooo much, will try to make some …from Holland with love, M♥rlene
The pleasure’s all mine, Marlene 😀 I hope you’ll enjoy making these amigurumis.
Oh this is so adorable, I am going to put aside what I was going to work on this weekend and start on this. You do such beautiful work. I have met so many wonderful people since I started doing Amigurumi and I just love all the imagination and talent. I wish I could leave work now and go home and get out the hooks, wonderif I can come up with Crochetitis…is there such a think and go home sick.
Crochetitis! You made me laugh so hard! 😀 I think it’ll be a good idea if everyone got to take off a day or two to recover from this condition every once in a while 😉
Oh my they are so cute will definately be making these they would also be great as stocking fillers!
Margaretha: I hope you enjoy making them 🙂
Your little designs are just awesome! I love seeing them!
Thank you so much 🙂
This AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing! I’ll show it to my sister!
Thank you so much, Christine. I hope your sister likes them too 🙂
Angels and tree are wonderful!!! Love them! Love them so much that don’t even know what to say! 😀 Seriously! Feel little dumb because am speechless!
Thank you dear for wonderful share. This one is really great to make for christmas time.
Thanks!
Thank you, dear Vanja. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you 🙂 I’m still very much head over heels in love with your little gnomes. It’s a pity we don’t get the kind of yarn you’ve used to make the beard round here 😦
Will get in touch with you by mail for all the details. Will send you yarn by post! For such small details one skein holds long time!
Vanja, that’s so very thoughtful and generous of you! But please, I do not want you to take the trouble 🙂 I’m sure I’ll be able to find something closer home. Though I’ve been living in Kathmandu for a few years now, I’m afraid I’ve not been able to acquaint myself well with the city. Till early this year, I had no idea where to get safety eyes! When I was just about to give up, I found them in a nondescript craft shop hidden in a nondescript alley. Are you yawning yet? 😛 What I’m saying is, even though I don’t know where to find that yarn at the moment, there’s a good chance it is waiting for me in some yarn shop I’ve never visited 😀 But thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. I’m touched 🙂
Hugs.
Thank you for this awesome pattern. Love your work
Thank you 🙂
Muchas gracias por compartir, es un patrón maravilloso; es usted muy generoso y con un talento increible.
And thank YOU for your lovely comment 🙂
Oh so a lovely Christmas present! This couple of angels are so sweet! Thank very much
I’m so thrilled you like these little angels. I hope you’ll be making a few for Christmas 🙂
These are super fabulous 😀 It is Autumn here and I am thinking of picking up the old hook & making something to keep me warm. But then again I may not. I have so many ieas of what I want to do, sometimes I think I won’t accomplish anything because I can’t makemy mind u where to start. I do still love to see what others make though 😉 So keep on making & designing & showing us what you do 😉
What weather do you have there just now? 😀
Welcome back, Mo! It’s so great to hear from you again 😀 You seriously do have way too many hobbies, more than one person could handle. The perils of being multi-talented, I guess 😉 Out here, there’s a nip in the air. Perfect time to bring out the woollies, and, in your case, the good ol’ hook 😉
This is so cute!!!
Thank you 🙂
Very cute
Thank you 🙂
So beautiful!! What a fabulous pattern – thank you for sharing! I shared this too 🙂 You and Vanja are on a roll! Rhondda
I’m thrilled you like the miniatures, Rhondda. And thank you so much for liking, commenting and sharing 😀 Vanja is the amigurumi ninja; I’m just a rookie 😀
Fantastic pattern =) A little tip:
To get more structure on the Christmas tree I crocheted every stitch as usual in both lmb, and every second of the BLO and it looks great =)
Fantastic tip, Mia! 😀
Listen up, friends! Try Mia’s tip for a more textured look.
These are so sweet. Thank you for sharing the patterns. 🙂
The pleasure’s all mine, Joan 🙂

These are precious! I love the dresses on the little angels. I just found your blog and I love it! So cute! : )
I’m so happy you like them, Heather 🙂 Your Chickabug shop has the cutest things ever! Love your designs 🙂
Your patterns are sooo cute..thanks for sharing…Just wondering…is there a pattern for the base itself? The round brown and yellow circular standing shape? Cos i cant find the pattern….
Thank you, Christine. The stand is actually a circular planter tray turned upside down and covered with a crocheted cozy 🙂 To make this cozy, I worked a flat circle in dc, using multiples of eight (and joining the last st of the round to the first st with a slip stitch) till I got the desired circumference.
Round 1: 8 dc in a magic ring.
Round 2: 2 dc in each st around. (16)
Round 3: (Dc 1, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (24)
Round 4: (Dc 2, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (32)
Round 5: (Dc 3, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (40)
…and so on till it covers the stand.
Then I Dc-ed a round in back loops only without increasing. After this, I continued working in dc till I got the desired height. If you want the cozy to cover the rim, which is now going to be the base of your stand, work another round of dc in BLO. That’s it! I hope this helps 🙂
Your patterns are incredible! I can’t wait to finish my work, so I can start making them! Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Virginia 🙂 I hope you enjoy making these tiny amigurumis 😀
Thank you for inspiration to finish with my knitting needles and swop them for my hook instead. Cant wait to start. Absolutely gorgeous work.
Thank you so much, Sue! I hope you enjoy making them. And good luck with your new book; I love the illustrations! I think I’ve already taken a bit of liking to that little Rylee fella 🙂
Thank you for these lovely patterns – I can’t wait to try them. Happy Christmas! 🙂
Yay! I’m so glad you like them 😀 Merry Christmas to you too 🙂

😀
gracias por compartir todo esto con nosotr@s, ya que por lo menos en mi caso me cuesta muchisimo sacar patrones. me gusta realizar sus creaciones
You’re welcome, Erlyn 🙂
Please can you help me to find the free patterns for the 9inch tall Christmas Angels. I have downloaded the photos, but there were no photos of the pattern! One was dressed in white with a yellow trim and hair. The other had brown hair, white dress with a blue trim. They were so sweet, and now that I have the time to make them, I find I don’t have the pattern. Silly me!!
Please help.
Serena
