Now that the spooky season is over, this post is all about treats—no tricks whatsoever 😀 Grab your hooks, ladies and gentlemen who crochet, I bring free patterns! Introducing *drumrolls* my miniature amigurumi Christmas tree and angels! 
These tiny angels are 4.5 inches tall and require only small amounts of yarn to make. 
Standing 5 inches tall, just 0.5” taller than these little winged cuties, is the miniature Christmas Tree, which is so simple to make, even your cat can hook up one in an evening 😉 So if you are looking for a fun, quick and easy Christmas-themed stash busting project, this one is just what the doctor ordered.

Oh this is so adorable, I am going to put aside what I was going to work on this weekend and start on this. You do such beautiful work. I have met so many wonderful people since I started doing Amigurumi and I just love all the imagination and talent. I wish I could leave work now and go home and get out the hooks, wonderif I can come up with Crochetitis…is there such a think and go home sick.

Though I’ve been living in Kathmandu for a few years now, I’m afraid I’ve not been able to acquaint myself well with the city. Till early this year, I had no idea where to get safety eyes! When I was just about to give up, I found them in a nondescript craft shop hidden in a nondescript alley. Are you yawning yet? 😛 What I’m saying is, even though I don’t know where to find that yarn at the moment, there’s a good chance it is waiting for me in some yarn shop I’ve never visited 😀 But thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. I’m touched 🙂

To get more structure on the Christmas tree I crocheted every stitch as usual in both lmb, and every second of the BLO and it looks great =)

Your patterns are sooo cute..thanks for sharing…Just wondering…is there a pattern for the base itself? The round brown and yellow circular standing shape? Cos i cant find the pattern….

The stand is actually a circular planter tray turned upside down and covered with a crocheted cozy 🙂 To make this cozy, I worked a flat circle in dc, using multiples of eight (and joining the last st of the round to the first st with a slip stitch) till I got the desired circumference.
Round 1: 8 dc in a magic ring.
Round 2: 2 dc in each st around. (16)
Round 3: (Dc 1, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (24)
Round 4: (Dc 2, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (32)
Round 5: (Dc 3, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (40)
…and so on till it covers the stand.
Then I Dc-ed a round in back loops only without increasing. After this, I continued working in dc till I got the desired height. If you want the cozy to cover the rim, which is now going to be the base of your stand, work another round of dc in BLO. That’s it! I hope this helps 🙂

Please can you help me to find the free patterns for the 9inch tall Christmas Angels. I have downloaded the photos, but there were no photos of the pattern! One was dressed in white with a yellow trim and hair. The other had brown hair, white dress with a blue trim. They were so sweet, and now that I have the time to make them, I find I don’t have the pattern. Silly me!!
