I’m super excited to tell you that the pattern for Cookie, the amigurumi girl, the little cutie you all loved so much, is now ready for download 😀 And, as I had promised in my last post, the pattern is FREE for all you lovely, amigurumi lovers! Cookie is 8.5 inches tall and very, very mischievous. So should you decide to make one for yourself, be warned—she can be quite a handful.
So, without further ado, here’s the link to the pdf. DOWNLOAD PATTERN
If there’s one thing that gets me more excited than designing my own amigurumis is seeing what other crafters make with my patterns. So if you make any amigurumis using this pattern, please free to send me your photographs or weblinks. I’d love to see them.
Cheers!
Bravo! 😀 You did that lickety-split! Two days?! Lol 😉

This is a very cute pattern. Thank you for sharing it. I’m sure I’ll learn some new amigurumi techniques from this pattern.
Thank you. I hope you have fun hookin’ 😉
Just lovely!
Thank you 🙂
I couldn’t get your pattern to download from the link and it kept saying failed. Is there anyway that the cookie girl doll pattern can be emailed to my email address above.
Thank you kindly in advance
Cassandra,it’s a present for someone
who is very sick under going treatment and she’ll have a friend
I’ve mailed you the pattern. I hope the person you’re making this for gets well soon.
I also love The Cookie Girl..can you tell me which Crochet cotton you used?
I used acrylic yarn (14 wpi) and a 2.5 mm hook for this project. I hope you enjoy hooking up this little darling 🙂
I’m still learning to crochet but would love to try this pattern, just wondering what size safety eyes you would recommend?
I used 9 mm eyes for this 8.5 inch amigurumi. If your yarn gives you a bigger doll, you might want to go for something larger than 9mm. I hope you have fun making her 🙂
Merci beaucoup. She is very nice (and my english is very bad sorry)
Glad you like her. I hope you’re planning on making one for yourself 😀
Cookie is really cool…i want to crochet her, but i dont understand these BLO, FO, FLO…what does it mean. Im sorry im german…;) thanks for your answer
I’m glad you like her 🙂
BLO stands for back loop only; similarly, FLO is short for front loop only. stitchdiva.com has an excellent photo tutorial on how to work these stitches: http://www.stitchdiva.com/tutorials/crochet/crochet-in-the-front-or-back-loops-of-a-stitch
FO means “fasten off” the yarn to close the piece. June Gilbank has written a tutorial that shows three different ways to do this: http://www.planetjune.com/blog/amigurumi-help/fastening-off/
I hope this helps. Have fun hooking up little Cookie 🙂
She’s really nice, I’d love to make one for my niece, but the download link has been disabled, too bad.
😞
The link is working now. It appears Dropbox had deactivated the link as a precautionary measure against some web vulnerability. You can download the file now 🙂
Oh that’s perfect! Thanks! ❤
This is my version of Cookie: http://beva-handmade.blogspot.com/2014/05/lalka-zosia.html
Love your Cookie, Beva! Thanks for the link 🙂
Love Cookie!!! And just because she is called as I was nicknamed by my dad the moment he saw me when I was born 🙂 , I’ll make more than one as a present fpr the little girls around me. Thank you so much for creating my second self 😉 and sharing her for free. A big hug from a Spanish Cuqui
Glad you like her. You should probably make one for yourself as well. After all she’s your namesake. 🙂
I love Cookie she is so cute. thank you for sharing your great talent with all of us.
You’re welcome, Janice 🙂
I’m in a group called Feel Better Friends. We make dolls for sick children. I googled cookie amigurumi because I saw it somewhere and came across your page (which I totally bookmarked for future reference) and well anyway, we have a page on Facebook as well as a doll maker group and I shared the link to your dolly. She’s got more curves, (hands and feet) than the default pattern. So for us more adventurous hookers, we can add more detail! Thanks!
That’s amazing work you’re doing there, Emily! Respect.
Thank you. I have the picture of the child and her doll that I’m allowed to share with anyone. How can I share it with you? Of course it’s not the complete pattern you used, I used a variation of it… Turned out awesome. Let me know.
I tweeted you the pictures.
I just saw your tweet. Thanks, Emily! The doll’s awesome and the look on that little girl’s face is priceless. Hats off to you and the Feel Better Friends team. 🙂

What a simply adorable little pattern! What little one wouldn’t love to have one ❤
Hi
Thank you ! She is so cute !!
Thank you. I’m glad you like her. 🙂
I guess it’s a testament to how awesome this doll is, 7 years later and folks (like me) are still finding and loving the pattern! I do have one question, have you or anyone else found the head to be floppy? Maybe it was something I didn’t do in the construction? I am new to ami, but I have been crocheting for-ev-er! Any tips or tricks would be MUCH appreciated! Again, love the pattern. Even with a floppy head my daughter loves this doll! Thanks!
