About a year ago, I decided I wanted to learn to crochet and make amigurumis. After watching approximately half a dozen, two-minute video tutorials on the subject, I was confident I was ready to jump head first into the world of amigurumi and hook up a teddy bear. Needless to say, the result was horrendous and I shudder at the thought of (re)posting an image here! (But if you want to see it anyway, you can find it here.)
A year (and many amigurumis) later, I had the urge to make the same teddy bear again. So I dug up the pattern online and—TADA!—now I have these to show you
(Left to right) Papaya, Berry, Aubergine, and Apple
These little bears love hanging out together.
And like most little girls, they love dressing up. But don’t let their sweet faces and girly demeanor fool you.
Whenever the world is in danger, they put on their fighting boots and go beat up super villains like Megatron. Cool, huh!

He-ey!!! These are so cute!
Well done
I love the spotty ribbons, but Berry’s tank-top is awesome!
Mo xx
Hey! Long time, Mo! So glad to ‘see’ you
I wanted a bit of variation in their outfits, so Berry’s tank top was crocheted plain and then embellished with a bit of cross stitch. Glad you liked it
Those are adorable! I like how you posed them with the action figure.
Thank you, Veronica
After a couple of cute pictures, I wanted a break in the monotony; figured an action figure of an evil bot would do the trick
Your Teddies are super cute! And a force to be reckoned with! Hahaa!
Oh yes, they sure can pack a fair punch despite their 5 inch frame
